We are proudly an ACTIVE TAX -PAYER as per the records that can be accessed at the KRA HEAD OFFICE at TIMES TOWER in Nairobi – Kenya or by accessing KRA WEBSITE – www.kra.go.ke
We do believe that as an International Reputable company, we are bound by the Local LAWS and MUST at all times be compliant and on the right side of legal expectations.
Payment of our respective taxes is one such case example. Infrastructure development in any country can only be implemented (satisfactorily) if companies (such as Glo-JET) dutifully and voluntarily pay timely taxes due to the government. The same practice is always observed in all the countries where Glo-JET International Corp has footprints.
TAX COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATE
To demonstrate the assertion highlighted in point two (2) above, Glo-JET International Corp, has a valid TAX COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATE issued by The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) – which states as follows
“THIS IS TO CONFIRM THAT GLO-JET INTERNATIONAL LIMITED, PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER ******* HAS FILED RELEVANT TAX RETURNS AND PAID ALL TAXES DUE AS PROVIDED BY LAW.”
“THIS CERTIFICATE WILL BE VALID FOR TWELVE (12) MONTHS UP TO SEPTEMBER, 01, 2021”
AIR TRAVEL SERVICES TRADING PERMIT
AIR TRAVEL SERVICES require a very rigorous process since safety is paramount to any of the Forty-Six (46) Governments – Kenya being one of them. The company is super proud to possess A SINGLE BUSINESS TRADING PERMIT FOR THE YEAR 2020. The Permit lawfully allows GLO-JET INTERNATIONAL CORP to engage in the business of “AIR TRAVEL SERVICES” within the Republic of Kenya.
It is critical to clarify that – being an International Company, the tail numbers of the aircrafts are not “5Y”. As such, landing in Kenya for pick-ups (both passenger and CARGO) shall be effected by first obtaining valid landing permits “Per Flight” from The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) – The Aviation Regulator in Kenya.
Obtaining such permits from the countries – chosen by our esteemed customers is easier for us because of two reasons: (i) Our valid license to trade in Air Travel Services – which we timely renew each year; and (ii) Our International Partners’ (IACP&FJO) reputation with a valid Air Operators Certificate (AOC) issued internationally by their respective Governments. Discussions are, however, underway in Sydney to finally have a case-specific AOC issued by the regulator – KCAA. GLO-JET’s President and Chief Executive Officer takes absolute credit in convincing the International Board of Directors on the need to have an AOC for Kenya due to massive international businesses from Africa. Besides, Kenya has a huge role as a strategic business HUB and gateway to the rest of the world and with a very stable political leadership. This, indeed, provides a key fodder for the International Board to pass a resolution enabling Glo-JET International acquire the local AOC hence operate (with absolute autonomy) within the region. Profit sharing shall be based on a matrix spelt out in the Exclusive Agency that exists between Glo-JET and IACP&FJO.
EXCLUSIVE AGENCY FOR LOCAL AND REGIONAL REPRESENTATION
Glo-JET International Corp has a ten (10) Year Local/Regional JET brokerage and agency representation on behalf of IACP&FJO. As much as Glo-JET has 39% shares of IACP&FJO, we wish to state that this document gives us the mandate of negotiating business on behalf of our partners in 42 countries in Africa and globally.
IACP&FJO takes cognizance of the fact that the group can’t possess an AOC from all the Forty-Six (46) countries where Glo-Jet has physical footprints. As such, and with our impeccable experience in handling aviation related businesses, we have formulated structures that enable us to resoundingly bank on the impressive revenue stream thus position Glo-JET to the international market.
The said exclusive agency, highlights profit sharing and distribution agreement, terms of reference, operational procedures and dispute resolution mechanisms among others. THIS COMPREHENSIVE AND ELABORATE 73 PAGE DOCUMENT IS PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL.
NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT (NDA).
Whether you realize it or not, Glo-JET International Corp’s business has information that should remain private, such as customer list, passport copies, email addresses, telephone numbers, residential and work addresses, financial records, or ideas for a new pricing plan. An NDA is the company’s first line of defense to protecting this information. This legal document creates a UNIQUE confidential relationship between Glo-JET’s business and any contractors, employees, and other business partners who might get a behind-the-scenes look at our operations. In the interest of reciprocity with our customers, the NDA that we expect our customers to execute is mutual and both parties are expected to keep the other party’s information private and confidential, unless permitted by the precincts of the law.
At our company, we deal with customers from different jurisdictions. We, however, assure our clients that the operational and data protection policies are compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and it’s seven core principles which include (i) Lawfulness, Fairness and Transparency, (ii) Purpose Limitation; (iii) Data Minimization; (iv) Accuracy; (v) Storage Limitation; (vi) Integrity and Confidentiality and (vii) Accountability. The GDPR that was signed by 28 Member States of the European Union has a classic ripple effect on how Glo-JET International conducts business. It gives our customers greater power over their data and make companies (such as Glo-JET) be more transparent on how to deal with sensitive information.
GLO-JET’s Risk and Compliance department is the custodian of the policy in regard to the GDPR and shall ensure that the company adheres to the said Regulation. Any employee that is found not to be compliant shall face the necessary disciplinary sanctions as per the dictates of our internal Human Resource Policy.
TRANSACTIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS/AGREEMENTS
GLO-JET INTERNATIONAL CORP SHALL not receive funds from customers without following the detailed schedule and/or procedures highlighted in Standard Business Procedure Part of these procedures (at stage- 5) is to sign an AGREEMENT/TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
The International Board of Directors is very clear that GLO-JET INTERNATIONAL CORP MUST contractually be bound by the set rules so that each party feels comfortable during the transaction. This thinking informed the development of a twenty-two (22) page document entitled TERMS AND CONDITIONS/CHARTER AGREEMENT that must be signed by the client before effecting transfer of funds to our accounts. GLO-JET SHALL FOLLOW THE LAID DOWN TERMS AND CONDITIONS TO THE LETTER.
The company advises the customer to thoroughly go through the Contract/Charter Agreement together with a lawyer of his/her choice BEFORE appending his/her signature – which shall be FINAL.
Upon accomplishing the task that the company was set to do as per the signed contract, a CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION OF A CHARTER SERVICE MUST be issued to the Customer to [once more] contractually free Glo-JET and IACP&FJO from the signed contract.
